01. Context

The American Modern Opera Company (AMOC*) is a leading force among today's most innovative and visionary interdisciplinary ensembles. This summer, AMOC* embarks on its most significant artistic endeavor to date with a bold slate of opera, dance, and music. Performances will take place indoors and outdoors across Lincoln Center, moving fluidly between the spectacular and the intimate. Each production draws audiences into a realm where the lines between disciplines blur, celebrating the company’s audacious creativity and intimate approach to storytelling.

02. Campaign

The Run AMOC* Festival campaign relied on organic social media to generate buzz and drive engagement. Utilizing a strategic mix of platforms, the campaign featured curated content including behind-the-scenes footage, artist interviews, teaser videos, and performance highlights, all shared across Instagram and Facebook. Timed posts helped build anticipation in the weeks leading up to the festival, while community engagement and cross-promotion with artists and partners extended the campaign’s reach. With limited paid media, the campaign effectively fostered grassroots momentum through compelling storytelling and consistent digital presence.

03. Partners

Run AMOC* Festival unleashes boundary-defying artistry across Lincoln Center, melding opera, dance, and concert in fluid, site-specific experiences. Anchoring the roster, countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo leads the cosmic epic The Comet/Poppea, while director-choreographer Zack Winokur reimagines Messiaen’s Harawi through movement. They’re joined by visionaries like Yuval Sharon, Sandbox Percussion, Mimi Lien, Seth Parker Woods, King Britt, and more, each pushing the immersive, human-scaled storytelling AMOC* is known for. Together, these artistic partners turn the halls and plazas of Lincoln Center into a living landscape where the spectacular meets the intimate.

04. Impact

The Run AMOC* Festival reshapes the idea of what an arts festival can be. By uniting bold artists across disciplines and staging work in unexpected spaces, it invites new audiences into opera, dance, and experimental music. The festival’s impact lies in its accessibility and emotional immediacy, sparking conversation, connection, and discovery with every performance.
